All about Joe (the inventor of the Self-adjusting Superchock)

Who: Joe Thompson, a semi-retired commercial artist and the inventor of the SUPERCHOCK©.
Where: Joe and Lenore, his wife of over 50 years, live in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Sioux Falls is located on the opposite side of the state from Mount Rushmore.
Why: When Joe and Lenore packed up their new Fifth-Wheel camper and took to the open road a few years ago things were happy and going well until the first time they pulled into a camping spot and had to hunt for a rock to chock the wheel. Lenore was tasked with finding the rock. She was not happy. Thus, the idea for an easy to use chock for tandem wheel trailers was born.
Now: Joe is holding the Superchock for tandem wheel trailers that was the first of the Superchock line of products. While selling the tandem wheel Superchock Joe was working on a adjustable version for Single Wheel trailers, too. The Superchock for Single Wheel trailers will work on tandem wheel trailers, too. So the Tandem wheel version was phased out and the Single wheel version has replaced it.
